Staff tea lady
Nancy Boreham/ Porter has been King’s staff tea lady for four years. She retired on 18 August. Before working here she worked as a tea lady for another firm for three years. “It’s a wonderful job”, she said. “It’s wonderful to be in the kitchen making tea, having a talk to some teachers and things like that. This work is made for everyone who needs a nice, quiet job. “She would like to thank Mr Simpson and the whole King’s teaching staff for their company. This occupation had filled her life. Now, nearly 70 years of age, she wants to retire. “I
want to relax for the rest of my life,” she said.
