GABBUSCH Christine
1988 –
Christine Gabbusch joined the staff of King’s High School at the beginning of 1988, after returning from an extended tour of Europe which included a teaching spell in London. |Originally from Dunedin where she attended Logan Park High School she has however also lived in Christchurch and Invercargill, teaching at James Hargest High School.
Christine is a keen netballer, both as a player and coach, is still waiting for any interested boys to form a King’s team! She also enjoys tennis and reading but secretly admits to not having got over her travel bug – she still thinks there is a lot of the world including New Zealand, that she would like to explore.
Christine holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Otago and decided to teach because she wanted to use her training productively. At King’s she teaches History, English, Geography and Social Studies.
